Take Your Next Adventure in the New Toyota Land Cruiser
2019 was the last time the Land Cruiser was on the market, and many thought it wouldn't return. Now, for the 2024 model year, Toyota is bringing back this SUV as a smaller, more agile, off-road vehicle. This new midsize SUV uses Toyota's truck-based TNGA-F platform, seats five up to passengers, and can easily tackle any trail. To learn more about this new crossover, keep reading as we breakdown this model.

Performance
The new Land Cruiser will initially have a single powertrain - a turbocharged 2.4-liter 326 horsepower four-cylinder hybrid engine. Two electric motors will assist this powertrain, as will an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. With such a configuration, the Land Cruiser will tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Technology
Along with a strong engine, the Land Cruiser will also have various features inside the cabin. Inside, drivers can find a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a digital rearview mirror, and USB-C charging ports. But features like the onboard Wi-Fi and available 14-speaker JBL stereo system will cost extra.
Safety
As with all new Toyota models, the Land Cruiser will come equipped with a generous amount of advanced driver-aids. These features will be bundled together in a suite called Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The available features include lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlamps, adaptive cruise control, and automated emergency braking.
